Jinhua Polytechnic college established in 1994 and located at the bank of Yangtze River Delta in Zhejiang Province. Zhejiang is famous for its history and culture and it is one of the most famous historical cities in China.
The story of Jinhua Polytechnic starts before 100 years of age. Now, Jinhua Polytechnic become a national model of higher vocational college, a nationally advanced college of vocational education, and one of the annual top 50 nationally advanced colleges for employment. Jinhua Polytechnic covers about 146.7 hectares with a gross floor area of 690,000 square meters. Its fixed assets are worth 1.1 billion RMB, teaching equipment is valued at 233 million RMB. Moreover, the college possesses nearly 1.8 million copies of books, 13 faculties, one affiliated hospital, 60 majors, more than 300 experimental training rooms, besides, 800 off-campus teaching and scientific research bases, and 535 Chinese government authorized patents. Currently, the college employs more than 1300 professional teachers which include more than 100 professors and about 320 associate professors, and there are more than 24,000 full-time students.
Jinhua Polytechnic has been making great efforts to expand cooperation and communication with overseas organizations. It has established long-term cooperative relationships with overseas universities and educational institutes from more than twenty countries and areas, such as the USA, UK, Canada, Ukraine, Australia, New Zealand, France, Egypt, South Africa, Finland, UAE, Singapore, Indonesia, Rwanda, and Cameroon. The inter-school exchange programs cover teachers’ training, scientific research collaboration, student exchanges, Sino-foreign joint programs, and other projects. Jinhua Polytechnic has four Sino-foreign joint programs approved by the Education Department of Zhejiang Province and the Ministry of Education of China, which are the Sino-American Accounting Program, Sino-Canadian Hospitality Management Program, Sino-American Sports Service and Management Program, and Sino-American Nursing Program, with more than 1200 full-time students. Sino-Canadian Hospitality Management Program has participated in the quality authentication organized by China Education Association for International Exchanges in December 2015.
In May 2015, Jinhua Polytechnic Wintec International College was jointly established by our college and Waikato Institute of Technology, New Zealand. The majors include Applied Electronic Technology, Computer Application Technology, and Computer Networking Technology. The initial intake was 168 students in 2015, and it plans to enroll 240 students in 2016. Jinhua Polytechnic Wintec International College will build two more new majors, Architectural Engineering Technology and Mould Design and Manufacture in 2016, which are to recruit students in 2017.
Jinhua Polytechnic has developed student exchanges with Finland, Egypt, Singapore, Taiwan, and other countries and regions, with approximately 100 students taking part every year. Jinhua Polytechnic offers recruitment and teaching services for overseas students in various specialties, such as Chinese Language, Machinery and Vehicles, IT and Information Engineering, Pharmacy, Arts of Dress Design, International Business and Hotel Management. In recent years, there have been more than 500 international students from over 20 countries and regions studying in our college. In July 2014, the Rwanda Government Sponsored Program officially started up in our school with the initial intake of 32 students. Rwandan students will learn the Chinese language in the first year and later transfer to different majors such as Vehicle Detection and Maintenance Technique, Communication Network and Equipment, and Hotel Management. This program will recruit more excellent students sponsored by the Rwanda government in the future.
As Chinese education continues to open up, Jinhua Polytechnic will further broaden the field of international communication, actively promote the internationalization of education, and enhance international influence. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), Jinhua Polytechnic plans to strengthen the quality of Sino-foreign programs; to attract more overseas students to gain diplomas; to enable more teachers to receive longer training abroad; to increase students exchange programs; to fortify the management of foreign teachers; and to better the international college. Also, it strives to organize over 200 students to exchange; to hold 70 multicultural academic lectures, featuring the theme of ‘cross-cultural interaction, win-win together’; to augment 120 bilingual or foreign language courses, among which 90 courses will be introduced from foreign countries, and to provide skills training for teachers and students from developing countries such as Indonesia and African countries. With the guidance of the national strategy of ‘One Belt and One Road’, we will make every effort to promote Chinese education worldwide, so as to firmly enhance the internationalization of education and soft power of Jinhua Polytechnic.
YES, Chinese Diploma College provide programs in English. But some programs and courses are not taught in English. So it’s better to be fluent in Chinese. International Students can pursue their diploma in Chinese taught in Chinese school.
Some colleges don’t need the HSK-4 certificate, but most of the schools required HSK-4 to start major courses. If you don’t have HSK-4 the college have one year HSK-4 foundation course for all prospective students. But if you have HSK-4 certificate then you can direct study for major courses which take only 2 years for Diploma in Chinese taught.

The first thing you must need to have a passport. This is a very essential document because without a passport you can not go abroad or your dream country where you want to study or live. To have a passport makes you feel secure to live. So if you don’t have it yet, we advise you to make your passport ready from the embassy office in your home country as soon as possible. The general size of the passport size photo is (50mm x 40mm). Applying for admission, your passport size photo should be clear and the background must be plain, white or off-white in color. The height of the head has to be between 28mm – 33mm and head width has to be between 21mm–24mm. Advice to submit a color photo which is taken in the last 6 months. Use a clear picture of your face. If you are interested to apply for Bachelor Degree you need to provide your school transcripts and certificates. For a Master’s Degree, you have to provide your undergraduate transcripts and certificates, And for doctorate degree, you have to provide your both (undergraduate and graduate) transcripts and certificates.

Police clearance is very important for going to abroad because a foreign country does not allow any criminal records. A Police Clearance Certificate is an official document approved by the police or government agencies to prove that you have no criminal offense against you like arrest, conviction. You must have to fill the original copies in English. The medical examination must include all the items which are listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete reports or without the signature of the attending physician and the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed picture of yours are invalid. Medical examination results will be valid for the next 6 months, after 6 months you have5 to do it again. IELTS is not necessary for all Chinese universities but if you want CSC scholarship English proficiency certificate is very important. If you have done IELTS already then you are welcome to study in China without any delay.
You must have to prepare your CV or resume to study abroad in your desired country. Academic qualifications with results, personal details (name, date of birth, marital status, physical address, national Id or school Id, nationality, language, contact no, etc), reference from your institution’s faculty (his/her name, address and designation), personal achievement, etc are must for a perfect CV. Applicants for all graduate studies need two recommendation letters from full professors or associate professors (in Chinese or English). The professors must have to be your known and obviously, you have completed any course with them. A recommended letter must have to mention about your academic and personal traits and emphasize the strengths that are relevant to the department or university where you are applying. Journal publication is not mandatory for applying Ph.D. When you planned for Ph.D. in china or other countries, journal publication will play a major role in getting admission into a good University and it might help in reducing the length of your Ph.D.
